The Indonesian archipelago has long been known as a goofy foot’s paradise. Beginning way back when Uluwatu was first discovered, one lefthander after another just seemed to keep popping up. Padang, G-Land, Kandui, Deserts, to name just a few, have all become the focus of a lot of the surf media attention.

However, there are a few cheeky little rights peppered in here and there of which provides the left foot forward crew some respite.

“Is this the best right in Bali?” Nic Von Rupp asks.

Nic found himself in Bali during an early-season swell and ended up stumbling across one of Bali’s best rights on a “day of days” with only a few souls out.
