One Roll: Dylan Goodale Indonesian Nirvana

The plane’s engines roared and I laid back in relief. We’d finally escaped the wearing flatness and endless ramen bowls that is Japan in May. Things were looking up. A month in Indo, three separate film trips, and the best of times with the boys. And the storm we’d been scoping was now marching towards the Indonesian archipleago. It was gonna be a good couple of weeks…

But the very next day, I slammed my face into the reef at Deserts. Before the swell. So, in-between searching rural Lombok for steri-strips and Bedadine, surviving a night of attempted sleep with blood oozing from my face, and watching my friends get tubed all day, I started documenting some shit.

This roll spans before and after face lacerations, a Snapt 3 trip to Lakey Peak, and a bit of Bali in-between. – Dylan Goodale
