The Padang Cup is one of those contests we can kinda get behind. Reason being: the waves are usually really sick, and the field is a plethora of characters, specialists, locals and icons — making for rad viewing. It feels like a session. And last year we got to see Mason Ho doing drags like the one you see here.
There’s a pretty eclectic list of invitees this year too including Bruce Irons, Mason Ho, Ryan Burch, Tom Curren, Jack Robinson, Clay Marzo and locals like Bol, Rizal and Garut.
