When morning comes too soon A playlist for the final dawns of the summer

what youth playlist for back to school

Maybe it’s on the hardwood floor of a living room in Santa Cruz. Or the front seat of a tour bus, a towering New York hotel with a view, or a log cabin surrounded by mountains covered in snow. Or maybe it’s the backseat of a Volkswagen van in Venice. Or in the sand covered in fog. Mornings like these always need something to soothe the beats of the evening prior. Summer is ending and we don’t plan to go quietly. Here’s a soundtrack for waking up with your head sewn to the floor, and trying to untie it before nightfall comes once again. —Gabriella Librizzi

How To: Stay in a Hotel By the worlds finest connoissuer of accomodation: Chas Smith

The greatest gift an adult can give himself is a night in a hotel. Hotels, and more specifically, hotel rooms, are portals that exist somewhere between fantasy and reality. They are neither truly real nor truly extraterrestrial. The fine hotel room will exude a sort of “all things are possible, sir” je ne sais quoi….

7 Books you will psych on And should totally read

No one reads anymore. Which is probably why we read. But we’re realists too. Reading is hard in today’s culture. Our attention spans are at an all-time low.
