WY Recommends O’Neill Hyperfreak “Nomad” boardie

06.16.21 – TAGS: , , ,

As of course you already know, O’Neill has been making core surf gear since the 1950s and is a legacy brand of which is hard to find comparison today.

Simply, they’ve been cranking out the goods for quite some time, and continue to do so.

As part of our WY Recommends series, we hooked up with them on a new boardshort called the Nomad. It falls under their popular Hyperfreak series but adds a bit of a twist. As also part of their TRVLR collection, this well-designed trunk was created to stow and go with a couple of key features.

An innovative antimicrobial treated fabric to keep things from getting ripe while traveling and a cool zip pocket that you can fold the whole thing into. Combined with the Hyperfreak stretch and a perfect length 19″ outseam, the WY crew is digging this one for the Northern Hemi summer we’re just rolling into.

Long weekend in Baja, quick jump to one of the Outer Islands, etc. Throw these bad boys in the duffle and you’re set.

Enjoy.
