Soli Bailey boarded a boat with us recently. At the time, he was relatively unknown. Obscure a bit. Interesting name. Couple pretty good clips out on him. Nothing crazy. When we returned from the trip, Soli was legend. After stating that he’s never really surfed backhand pits without grabbing rail, his performance in Everything’s Wrong but in the Right Place is down right sick. Shades of Bruce and Andy in big backside pits. And I don’t just throw that comparison around. But what we saw was along that path. We caught up with him aboard the Bintang in Indo and got to know him a bit better.
