We write to you sitting next to a document. It is confidential as of now, but it looks cool and it’s filled with potential. Like a jelly donut.
During the month of July, we’ll be on the move. A lot. Tackling an itinerary that even our roster of seasoned and experienced travelers outwardly say they are “kinda sketched on.” But we will document and record every moment along the way. We will be loose and scrambled at lots of airports across the world and we will sip airport beers to quell the anxiety and excitement. We will hit record. And make so much rad stuff for you that we won’t be able to contain our excitement and we’ll probably post shit to Instagram that’s way too good for it, and then have no other option but to work harder so that every piece you see thereafter is even better. We will be alongside people like Arto Saari, who will be shooting photos for us in what we’ve heard is the greatest city in the world: Copenhagen. Our bags are packed. Our trucks are loose. And our surfboards are coming too. We’re going to the Old World, with new ideas.
To be continued…

Craig Anderson between the bars Collected Thoughts 002
Photo by Kai Neville Kai took this photo of Craig a little before 1 a.m. in Brooklyn, New York. They’re leaving the strange party they wandered into after a Dirty Beaches show at Williamsburg’s Glasslands Gallery — truly they did, they sauntered all Australian through some odd open side door and into someone’s loft, where…
John John in Barbados Collected Thoughts 001
This is John John Florence by the ghost of an Olympic pool at an abandoned resort in the parish of St. Lucy near the northern tip of Barbados, and what a useless cavity in the ground has he got here. The walls are too vertical to skate, there’s no water to ease the heat, there’s…
