We actually got to see this for ourselves one year when we filmed The Copenhagen Project. And it was clear that we weren’t at a traditional competition. We were attending a celebration of living life as a skateboarder. That’s what makes it so special. The city gets behind it. The skaters love it. And the culture is better for it.
