If for some reason you’ve never made the mile or so slog into Trestles, this latest clip from the Colapinto brothers gives you a pretty good idea of what a slightly above average day looks like at Lowers.

The place catches most swell that might be lingering and it doesn’t take much to start reaching overhead status. It ain’t a barrel but it is a super fun, high perf fun zone when it starts working. The Colapinto family lives just up the road a bit so it’s safe to say they have enjoyed many a day just like the one is this clip

Unfortunately, it’s about as crowded as a spot can get these days and the e-bikes didn’t help in that regard.

Griffin would seem firmly in line as the California heir apparent title contender, and his clean rail work and above-the-lip stuff is only getting better as time goes by.
