Watch: “Happy Talk” A film by Eithan Osborne and Andrew Schoener

/ PRV

You may have seen this by now as we kinda lagged (Sorry, Baja. More on that later), but regardless this clip still represents something well worth watching.

In surf media at least.

In this 20 minute peek into the life of one of surfing’s brightest new starts, Eithan employs the uber-artistic Andrew Schoener to chase him around in what appears to be mostly the local haunts of Ventura County, with a little Tahiti thrown in for some needed ruffage.

If you’ve been paying attention you’d also know that Dane has taken Eithan under his wing so to speak and it’s beginning to show. The kid has some game.

Shot in the very expensive format of 16 mil film, the end result delivers to the viewer a groovy, artsy feel to compliment the explosive surfing of Eithan, as well as the cameos from Dane and Mikey Clarke.

Not sure how many groms appreciate the format but we do.

And, who knew that V-Town was to become such a little media hub?

Enjoy.

Editors Note: If you make it to the end, there is a simple yet respectful nod to Brek Reynolds, who passed away recently. Our condolences to the Reynolds family.
