As we know, Volcom has had the beachhead at Pipe on lock for quite some time. With their purchase years ago of Gerry’s pad, and with the watchful eye of Kai Garcia at the helm (and the front door!), and the Wolfpack riding backup, the Stone was pretty much running shit.

Fast forward to today and it would seem a bit of a rivalry is developing between Veeco and the wonder brand, RVCA.

Top dog status on the North Shore ain’t an easy crown to acquire, or keep, so it will be interesting to see what becomes of this friendly jousting of position along the Seven Mile Miracle.

In the meantime, enjoy this little clip of the Veeco crew doing what they do best. Balram, Mitch, Kaimana, Noa, and of course, Gavin, are all featured, as one would expect. One thing is for sure however, regardless of who now owns what it doesn’t look like much has changed in the water for the Stone. And that’s a good thing. -What Youth
