Ty Segall dropped a new video today for thrashing single “Break A Guitar”, and it’s insane. I have almost no other words to describe it. The video opens with a steady, pulsing beat and quickly zooms in on a sweat-drenched Fred Armisen in karate gi as he does a flying crane into a Fender and, well, breaks the guitar. From there, it’s rock ‘n’ roll pandemonium, as Ty and his Freedom Band swirl in kaleidoscope waves, while familiar faces — Henry Rollins, Jack Black, and Armisen — tie the whole thing together.
