Before Ty Segall. There was The Traditional Fools. Growing up in Laguna with friends Andrew, and Dave formed a trio that captured their early adolescent amusements. So we cruised to a late night show at the Sandpiper in Laguna Beach to see what they had in store before they kicked off their mini-tour across the map. They started a hurricane pit in the middle, and it was full to the brim (along with everyone’s glasses).  It’s not every day that hiatuses open up with a banger. A new album is mandatory.
