Josh Landau of the The Shrine debuted his solo project Kill A Punk For Rock & Roll last night on KROQ’s Rodney on The Roq show. “She Says Goodnight When She Wants To” is the first track from the frustration/explosion outlet from Josh. The vomit from years of vagabond guitar slinging and low-life/high-brow love. It sounds like driving from Hollywood back to Venice Beach at 4 a.m. with a face-burned in your mind. The live band for these shows features Jordan Jones on guitar, Don “Nuge” Nguyen on bass and Wilder Zoby on drums.
Their live debut is slated for Nov. 17th at The Echoplex with a crazy good lineup that includes Death Valley Girls, Gateway Drugs, & CG Roxxanne and The Nightmares. Featuring DJ Rodney Bingenheimer and host Dave Foley from Kids in The Hall. Also playing Nov 22nd at The Bootleg Theatre with The Mystery Lights and The Molochs.
