It’s no big secret that What Youth photographer Nate Lawrence is one of the world’s best. What’s not known is what an incredible teacher and visionary he is behind the scenes. Hamish Humphreys is a testament to that. As we’ve documented in detail, we met Hamish about two years ago in the early days of What Youth’s development. He was a young kid who we thought carried Nate’s tripods and laughed at his jokes and took all his shots at the bar, but it turns out he was a super talented photographer in development.
The gallery above represents some of Hamish’s favorite images he’s shot in the last few years. A long way from the early days when we met him. He’s also become a well-liked traveler and favorite of all that work with him. We’re pretty damn excited to see what he creates moving forward
