We asked Dillon Perillo, who traveled to Mexico with Jack Freestone, about the trip that will be playing here on Friday. Seems that it was hot:

Dillon Perillo on Mexico: “The air was a scorch and our rations were peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with these funny cherry and marshmallow cookies. The beer is almost hydrating it’s so hot. I wasn’t thinking about the others as I just wanted to do a decent job at surfing. Sometimes I thought about what if our butt cracks were horizontal and not vertical. It would be an utter mess. The locals were great hosts. They drive you everywhere and they surf with you when they can and then you can buy them beers. They’re jolly souls.”
