Watch “Møments — MMXVII” An Australian road trip with Kolohe Andino, Jack Freestone, Mikey Wright, and more.

So you’ve probably heard we’re on a road trip right now. And I know we’re not ones to gloat, but aren’t road trips the best? You can stop at any wave that catches your eye. The servo station snack diet is a week-long reality. You have all the means to bolt town if things get too weird. Forget champagne, oysters, and multi-millionaire dollar wave pools — this is living, exhaust fumes and all.

And speaking of road trips, filmmaker Meagan Williams went on a bit of one himself throughout Australia. And he bagged clips up and down the coast along the way. Sure, the music is calm. Yes, it’s a bit slower. And, yes, I guess, it has a tad more of that “art vibe” to it. But it’s a breath of fresh air between all those vogue quick-cut surf edits and because of that it’s an enjoyable four-and-a-half minutes. And if that doesn’t get you going Mikey Wright, Kolohe Andino, Jack Freestone, Owen Wright, Jack Robinson, Mitch Crews, Shaun Manners, and more are all here to rip that nonsense frown of your’s right away. –James Royce
