After School Special at WY HQ Our new favorite band is still in middle school

what youth headquarters after school special

Yesterday we rolled up the back doors of our HQ to have After School Special (A.S.S.) play. The middle school-aged three piece jammed through a tight 40-minute set that ended on an Iggy Pop birthday tribute cover of “I Wanna Be Your Dog” and featured Tanner Rozunko on vocals.

In the background, the mini ramp was ripped, pizza and cola were flowing and every single person in attendance — including a blown away Mark Oblow, Ian Crane, Tanner Rozunko — are very happy with the future of the youth.

After School Special are Jackson Todd, Gus Day and Ty Connelly and they all ripped at every instrument they touched, trading back and forth and ripping covers of The Pixies and The Stooges. Check their Instagram (_afterschoolspecial_) and keep an ear out. Cant’ tell you how excited we are to see what these kids create in the future.
