Parquet Courts’ Human Performance was one of my favorite albums to come out of 2016. And so it’s really no surprise that their video for the single “Outside” is equally appealing. Comprised of compiled live footage from their show at the Knockdown Center in New York City, the video is incredibly simple in its concept, and yet befitting a band with such a huge, energetic fanbase.

Parquet Courts begin touring at the end of January (unfortunately no California dates), and will hopefully have more new jams for us soon. But for now, watch the video and pretend you’re seeing them live. That’s what I’ll be doing for the rest of the day. –Maya Eslami
