Foxygen has a new album dropping January 20th on Jagjaguwar, and today they released the video for “On Lankershim,” the third single from forthcoming Hang. Check it out.

The video, directed by Foxygen’s own Sam France and Jonathan Rado, as well as Danny Lacy, is an homage to Los Angeles, the band’s hometown. “We love all those old big budget videos about Hollywood,” said the band, “so we wanted to make our own version of that. We got out the old 66 Mustang and drove around LA and the Valley, getting shots of what LA life looks like to us.” And France, who shows no fear of coming off as a kook (watch the video for “Follow the Leader” below) revels in the opportunity to wear his own band’s shirt and have a good fucking time.
