Watch Warbly Jets’ “Alive” Video And listen to them

Ever miss that good old rock ‘n’ roll sound that’s not muddled up in fifteen different genres that all bounce around like Mexican jumping beans? Well, Warbly Jets, a rock ‘n’ roll band from Los Angeles, is hear to save your soul. And trust me, they’re intent on their sound. As keyboardist Julien O’neill explains, “A lot of bands are hung up on what used to be. We have no interest in writing something solely indebted to paisley and teardrop guitars.”

Comprised of O’neill, frontman and guitarist Samuel Shea, Dan Gerband on bass, and Justin Goings on drums, Warbly Jets have been seeping into the local LA scene for quite some time now, and will continue their seepage opening for indie legends The Dandy Warhols in December. But for now, watch the video for their debut single “Alive”. Long live rock ‘n’ roll. –Maya Eslami
