Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions, the moving force of melancholy heartache in the form of music, has a new album coming out November 2nd on Tendril Tales, and I’ve never been more excited to be saddened by a collection of songs. Titled Until the Hunter, the album is Sandoval’s first release since 2009. Sandoval began her music career in Mazzy Star, the incredible paisley underground influenced band of the 90s, and if you’ve never heard them before, now is the time.
Check out Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions first single off the album, “Let Me Get There”, featuring Kurt Vile above. And if you’re so inclined, listen to the album stream on NPR. –Maya Eslami
