Mild High Club is perfect summer music. And their new video for “Skiptracing”, the title track off their forthcoming album, is the perfect summer video. Starring Bradford Walters and our Girl We Adore Bleu Archbold, the video was shot by Mild High Club’s Alex Brettin on Super 8 film and features “a guy with a detector who finds an old friend and has a dance.” In a very French New Wave kind of way. Which we like. And, if that’s not enough to love the video, Brettin was inspired by Walter’s surfing footage he saw while on tour with Allah-Las this past spring. Surfing. French New Wave. Any excuse to look at Bleu Archbold. Yes.

Skiptracing comes out August 26th on Stones Throw Records, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it. Mild High Club will be touring extensively in support of the album, so make sure to catch them live. –Maya Eslami
