ECHO PARK RISING The low-key music fest (with 460 bands!) returns for its 7th year

Echo Park Rising, the expansive festival that floods the streets of Echo Park once a year, is upon us. Starting tonight, swarms of hipsters will bop from venue to bar to participating shop to see new and emerging (and sometimes unsigned) raw talent. And I’m talking swarms, because the lineup this year is bananas, and there are literally too many to name. But I’ve combed through, and picked out some standouts I think you should see. So check out their website, sip on these samples, and go. The entire thing is free. What else are you gonna do this weekend? –Maya Eslami
