Viewer discretion is advised.” That’s the official warning on Local Natives’ new video for “The Only Heirs,” the brand new single from the LA-based indie five-piece. Coming off their 2016 release Sunlit Youth, the band’s third album since their 2009 debut, Local Natives have hit the ground running this year with “The Only Heirs” and “I Saw You Close Your Eyes,” both available as digital singles and a limited edition 7″ via Loma Vista Recordings. Remember when they played on a rooftop in Silver Lake last year during rush hour? Me neither. But the stunt proved these guys take things lightly, and enjoy spontaneous antics. Which we always like. And although Local Natives are a  bit more poppy than we usually roll with, sometimes a little variety goes a long way. So listen up. –Maya Eslami
