HALFNOISE, the side project of Paramore’s Zac Farro, is about as bright and uplifting as it gets without dipping into a sudden bout of lithium induced euphoria. Acting as a one man band, with a predilection for live drums and the nostalgic tones of a 60’s soundscape, HALFNOISE dances on the edge of straight pop, while maintaining a slightly indie vibe. Just the way we like it. And the new video for “Someday”, coming in hot off his latest EP The Velvet Face, serves as the perfect compliment to an incredibly summery track. “The video was a blast to make,” Farro told me. “Our good pal Mike Kludge is so talented and every time we work together it gets better.
