The Coathangers, Atlanta’s answer to incredibly catchy, raging, brain-melting punk, are a testament to the power of creative integrity. Since the band formed in 2006, members Julia Kugel, Meredith Franco, and Stephanie Luke have remained true to their “we play for the fans” ethos. And today, we’re more than stoked to premiere the exclusive video for their brand new song “Parasite”, right here for your hungry eyes. Check it out. 

As far as the song goes, guitarist Kugel had this to say: “A parasite eats you from the inside out. Disrupts equilibrium and destroys it’s host. The song is an allegory for what we are witnessing in our country. It’s an expression of frustration.”
