Have you ever seen Ozzie Wright in a comp jersey? We haven’t either (Even though he is our #1 on the WY Top 34). But the first WSL contest in Israel was held a few months ago, and since Ozzie is not the kind of guy to pass up delivering a positive message with surfing, he paid his WSL dues and did the comp. “I couldn’t get over a 6” he told us laughing. “I was baffled, I would rip one and get a 6, every time!”
