Badass uber babe rock duo Deap Vally — yes, intentionally misspelled, get over it — premiered their video for “Royal Jelly” yesterday, the first released single from their upcoming, currently unnamed 2016 album. Directed by Jess Holzworth and starring the extra sexy Georgia May Jagger, the video meanders through the sleazy vibes of the Good Luck Bar in Silver Lake, with Georgia doing some kind of homoerotic dance in top hat and suit, to a pop-art Warhol-inspired color explosion, while singer/guitarist Lindsey Troy shreds in an American flag fringed skintight onesie and drummer Julie Edwards whips her curls to the beat. And if the video wasn’t enough, listen closely to the lyrics. Troy snarls in the sexiest way, “If you wanna be Queen bee, then you better make honey.” Take note. —Maya Eslami
