You can’t just buy a movement. You have to sweat, rock, drink, swerve, stay out all night and let it ferment and become musical compost that eventually grows into a full blown rock and roll sunflower — that’s how you create a real movement. And that’s what Brixton has been doing all over the world. Berlin. New York. Now Barcelona.
They invited 7 bands from all over Spain and Europe — including Greece, the UK and Italy — to come together for two nights in the beautiful city of Barcelona to play together and make noise together.
We attended with them and fell in love with seven new bands, including Aliment, The Saurs and Madrid’s own The Parrots. And you can check a few galleries of fun here, and above, attend via video. This is day one. Day two comes out tomorrow and then Thursday they’ll release a full live edit featuring a full song performance from each band.
And be sure to regularly check the Brixton Broadcast page here for all their global shows and videos.
