Watch “Inside Magenta” Skateboard through Paris with Vivien Feil of Magenta Skateboards and learn about their new collab with Adidas

Vivien Feil started Magenta Skateboards in 2010 with his brother Jean and friend Soy Panday. And it started as a means of continuing to thrive off the creative spontaneity that skating always represented: as the celebration of being weird through skating and using that to fill the void that existed in that realm of skating.

“Where I grew up skating it was very chill and family oriented. You didn’t make fun of people for anything. You didn’t care at all. You’re skating. It was more about celebrating being weird through skating — you can mix it all up. No one is better, there is no clique. “

And it was that mentality that build the foundation of Magenta. A creative acceptance that bloomed from a small apartment that housed traveling skateboarders from all over the world in Paris and turned into what is now Magenta. Vivien recently let us tag along in the streets of Paris, one of our favorite places to be and let us take a look at the filming of a new collab with Adidas and Magenta Skateboards, that premieres tomorrow right here on What Youth. Today, let’s skate the streets with Vivien.
