The Gold Coast surf adventure is a funny one. All the world’s best surfers in one place. Some good waves. Some shit waves. But everyone bobbing around in a boiling pot of shred and sunshine. Water’s warm. Ramps are littered about. But there isn’t much stressing. We generally wave the white flag during the week of the contest, knowing it’s more productive to catch up with friends and fuck around than it is to stomp wild bangers, but still, we still sliced a few.
