Fairly Normal: Noa Deane Episode 009

When Noa Deane released this video of himself in The Telos set to Nirvana, he got our attention. And now after spending some time with him at home on the Gold Coast, taking him around the world twice (France and Indo), he’s become one of our favorite dudes to hang and surf with. Which is what we did here at his home in Australia.

A bit about Noa: Mom and dad were pro surfers (dad’s in the Australian Surfing Hall of Fame). He has one of those styles rooted in unpredictability and recklessness, hucking himself at sections, but doing it with flow (a la young Dane Reynolds). One of those rare breeds. He’s 18 years old, recently got rid of his bowl cut and has a candid personality. Kid can skate. He’s in a band called Skeggs. Loves a beer with his friends and has a throwback grom mentality that we miss.
