There’s some throwback “fuck it” in Noa Deane’s approach to surfing and filming. And we appreciate that. We sat down with him in the back of a rented mini van in California recently to talk about filming with Kai for his part in Cluster. His arm was wrapped in a plaster cast from a skateboarding fall a few weeks ago. He was hungover and the sun was in his eyes. And it was just like that, a candid first chat in the dusty backseat that he told us how serious he is about buckling himself to film for the Cluster cameras.
The first in a series of talks with the crew filming for Cluster, somewhere along the way to making their parts.
