Creed McTaggart, Dion Agius and Noa Deane, morning tea on the cluster boat trip Collected Thoughts 066

Creed McTaggart Noa Deane dion agius on the cluster boat trip indonesia what youth surfing

We were mostly looking for launch ramps, but sometimes the path to ramps leads you into empty pits and we’d be lying if looking at this bomb out the back didn’t excite us. Although, while most of the boys watched the top shop pit across the reef, Noa Deane couldn’t take his eyes off the inside section.

“Look at the top shop! What’s the top shot about? All about getting piped!” everyone yelled. Well, everyone except Noa Deane.

Noa could only focus on the inside, pointing to the inside ramp, “This things where you wanna be hitting! That shit is begging!” he said staring at the ridiculously shallow inside section filled with coral-crusted launch ramps. Think he hit it?

For evidence of what happens next, grab a copy of What Youth Issue 8 and hop on board the Nathan Hedge haunted Rip Curl Search boat with the cast of Cluster and see what sort of wild shit went down.

Dane Reynolds on Public Transportation Collected Thoughts 003

John John Florence in Barbados

John John in Barbados Collected Thoughts 001

This is John John Florence by the ghost of an Olympic pool at an abandoned resort in the parish of St. Lucy near the northern tip of Barbados, and what a useless cavity in the ground has he got here. The walls are too vertical to skate, there’s no water to ease the heat, there’s…
