Punk rock is fucking awesome. Especially when it’s tied to a powerful message, as is often the case. Some of our favorite bands have been involved with political activism on a variety of levels including Fugazi, Anti-Flag, Q and Not U, Bikini Kill and Rites of Spring — especially throughout the D.C. area.
