Girl and Chocolate have always been companies that, well, “get it.” And they’ve hung around for the better part of the past 25 years because of this. They know what skaters want, emphasize collaborative skate filmmaking, and deliver a product that stands the test of time. No idea what I’m talking about? Okay, keep this window on ice in your browser and go watch Yeah Right!, Pretty Sweet, Hot Chocolate, and Goldfish. And if you have extra time on your hands after you finish all that pop in the 2013 Academy Award winner for best original screenplay, Her, and scope the director and screenplay credits at the end.

Alright, now you’re back. So the Girl and Chocolate folks are cool as hell, right? Well, they’re calling all aspiring filmmakers to write, shoot, and edit their own short original film. And the best original flick that gets sent their way wins the director an epic prize package that includes a trip to Los Angeles to hang with the team and an opportunity to lend a hand with the newest Girl/Chocolate video project. Plus a whole bunch of other goodies. Oh, and Spike Jonze and Cory Weincheque will be picking the winners so, you know, do your best not to send them complete shit. Deadline is April Fools Day so, get to it.
