Cherry Glazerr has been a noise rock staple around here for a while. They’re weird and loud and feisty. We like weird and loud and feisty. Also, they’’ve just put out a new video marking their transition from Burger Records to Secretly Canadian. It’’s a tune to remind chicks who would rather hang out with dudes that they need to be united with their fellow females if they want to overcome all the sexist pressures of society. Right? K, good.

The band’s got new members, but Clementine Creevy is still on the frontline. There is something different about their sound. More polished? Maybe. But they still got a lot of grit and that blatant filterless flare that caught our eye at the beginning. They’’re on tour until October, and we’’re over here, patiently awaiting a new album. –Gabriella Librizzi
