We partied with Corners last week before they left for their East Coast tour, and boy did we rage. Held at the Blind Spot Project in downtown LA, where they have an in-house “liquid light show” that turns the warehouse into a full-fledged acid trip, the party was bumping and packed to the brim. Opening bands the Paranoyds, Black Sea and Numb•er crushed their sets, and Crap Eyewear brand manager and all around vibe promoter Tony Accosta spun out some tasty tunes all night long. David Evanko was there with us to snap some rad shots, and I had one too many beers and swayed the night away.
Don’t miss Corners on their East Coast tour. They played all our favorite jams that night, including two new songs, “At Your Door” and “48 Hours”, which, rumor has it, may end up on their new album slated for early 2017. We love rumors. Especially when they turn out to be true. —Maya Eslami
