Jonas was supposed to keep the East Coast cooped up in their houses, but Balaram and his friends know that when the news is on saying that — well, that means the waves are probably good. Whiteout conditions prevailed, which can make snowboarding hard enough, but they practically shoot down your chances to surf completely. But Balaram, Pat Schmidt, Thomas Ihnken, and Corey Frank got out the thick rubber and got into it. Frozen peaks in the city. They got some epic waves and we are sure they couldn’t feel their nuts (or much of anything) after, but sitting inside for too long can make people do crazy shit.
