Watch Oliver Kurtz Hammer the Globe Hard to call him underground anymore

It’s weird to call Oliver underrated or underground because we’ve known him since he was young, but I think when you combine his newly acquired taste for the thrill of Teahupoo, his ability get the wave of the decade during Newport’s Marie miracle last year, and his prowess in Hawaii year after year, combed with a highly-refined small wave game (he’s from Florida remember) and an insatiable ability to party exclusively with model babes, it might be time we put him on the main stage.

Here are a few leftovers from his year, ranging from ripplable East Coast to long-winded Indo lefts.

Also, we hear he’s holding some pretty wild stuff for an upcoming hammer part. We’re ready to hoist you way above ground, Oliver.
