Tobias Gutmann is an illustrator, artist and a visual inventor. He sees illustration as a tool for social interaction. With Face-o-mat, his analogue portrait machine, he travels around the world to make people happy. He grew up in Wewak, Papua New Guinea, studied visual communication at University of Arts in Berne, Switzerland, worked in Tanzania and continued his studies in storytelling at Konstfack, Stockholm, Sweden. Currently he lives in Zürich, Switzerland.
