Taro Hirano is a Japanese photographer who first touched upon pool skating while shooting his earlier series, “Foreclosure.” After realizing that people still do actually skate pools, instead of it only being something that happened in the ’70s, he turned his lens to those abandoned bowls of concrete and created this stunning series. He captures the quiet moments in between and the details of what previous visitors have left behind.
