Powering surfing is a hotly debated topic along the bluffs and parking lots these days. Flicky airs and bad style being the product of a disregard of power. And with a lot of attention being put into aerials and progressive maneuvers, it’s been said that power surfing is a dying art. But if you take into consideration what some modern surfers have done — including Mitch Coleborn, Dane Reynolds, Conner Coffin and Dusty Payne — you can see that it’s still a major point of emphasis when it comes down to it.
