Afternoon Interview: Peter Ramondetta Episode 014

Video: What Youth

We met Peter Ramondetta in Copenhagen during filming for The Copenhagen Project. We were told he loved Satanic tattoos, had a world class Hurricane grind and lived in San Francisco — that was about it. But we immediately became a fan — both of his skating and outlook and approach to living as a skater.

During a recent trip through the city of San Francisco we called Peter up to see if he’d come meet us for a beer. He had just rolled his ankle a couple days prior and could barely walk — but he managed to meet us in the bustling downtown district for one — said it would be his mission for the day. We learned a lot about Peter during that beer. Where his discontent for authority and love of satanic art and speed metal originated; how weed helped his epilepsy growing up and just how wild the streets around his home can be on any given day. Hoping his ankle is healed up soon and that Hurricane is terrorizing the streets of SF again.
