Mark Oblow: “this photo of nathan was taken late 1990’s in brooklyn, ny. it was my first shoot for quiksilver and i had to do everything by myself. Everything from carrying the clothing in a bag and styling, finding locations, keeping nathan and jason dill motivated, and shooting film of course. i had met nathan years ago through christian hosoi in hawaii. but had no idea how this would go and of course adding jason dill into the mix. i was freaking the fuck out getting on the plane thinking to myself how the fuck can i pull this off? turned out to be one of the best trips ever and locked in a fucking great friendship between nathan and myself that is still holding strong today. not to mention dill and nate hitting it off.” —Mark Oblow
