What’s been a few dormant years for B.I. has turned into a whirlwind that sees him with a new sponsor, a new vibe, a new outlook, a new part in John John’s movie, a spot in the Eddie, and no doubt a strong showing in today’s Da Hui Backdoor Shootout. It’s one we’re very proud of and one we’re really proud to see Bruce on page 1.
After you get into it, the chaos and fun that always takes place inside a What Youth book begins, and you’ll meet and see people like Leo Romero, Julian Wilson, Tracy Bryant, William Strobeck and Rip Zinger.
Dylan Rieder curated the Notes from the Underground and we took two trips: one to go surfing in the city of San Francisco with Yago Dora, Andrew Doheny, Dillon Perillo and Brendon Gibbens. As well as a trip to go skateboarding in Japan with Ishod Wair, Kevin Terpening, Peter Ramondetta and Raven Tershy, all photographed by Arto Saari.
Oh, and we make sure everyone knows thrash is back in surfing. Order your copy today here, or check out the rad shops all over the world here that carry What Youth. —Travis
