We would never second guess the insight of seasoned vet and current CT Commissioner, Jessi Miley-Dyer, but it was a bit of a letdown that we didn’t see the Box and/or North Point in the WSL comp mix this year.

Permits or something trivial apparently.

Well, in case you missed it, as we did, here’s a little something to wet the appetite.

Photog/filmer Scotty Bauer notes, “North Point awakens after a few months while the WSL comp is in town staring Jed Mattinson, Dan Ryan, Sheldon Simkus, Kael Walsh, Jed Gradison, and crew. It rained pretty much all day until an hour before dark, as soon as it stopped, I rushed out to film a handful of waves.”

Well Scott, we’re glad you did and hopefully Jessi and the the crew at the WSL will get it together next year.

Oh, we’re kinda digging the black and white vibe too.
