It’s no secret that the ladies have been upping the game lately. Bigger waves, heavier spots, as well as some damn fine barrel riding.

Of course, WA’s Bronte Mcauley being one of the female surfers who have taken that next step.

Perth lensman Jack O’Grady was in just the right spot when this little gem rolled through and he was kind enough to share the whole sequence with us. One of the photos was featured in White Horses magazine and was Jack’s first published submission. Congratulations Jack!

Word has it this beast marched another 100 meters down the reef with Bronte tucked deep inside.
