Sav Finch is driven by the doubt of others. Her name is synonymous with freedom and boundless to the status quo. She hangs at the race track by day and with Lil Yachty by night. She explained and we listened in this Q&A.

Sav: Savannah Elizabeth Finch.

Where were you born?
Long Beach, CA.

The doubt of others.

How is juggling your schedule as a photographer and a model?
Life as a photographer and model can sometimes be hectic. I’m constantly
shooting or vice versa. Although it can be tiring at times, I’m doing what I love and
that’s what’s most important.

What have you been listening to lately?
Post Malone on replay, all day, every day.

How were you hanging with Lil Yachty?
There are no words that can possibly describe the time I spent with Lil Yachty. Speechless. By far the coolest person I have photographed to this day.

Would you rather go to New York or Paris?
Someone just take me to Bali.

How did you get the nickname “Savage”?
The nickname “Savage” started my freshman year of high school when a boy I didn’t like asked me out in front of all my friends in the quad at lunch. I responded, “in your dreams buddy.”
Everyone started yelling savage at me so now the name Savage Sav has carried on. Fun fact: I have “Savage” tattooed on the inside of my lip.

Where are you to traveling next?

My next destination is Detroit.

What’s your definition of a perfect day?

Cruise to Alta in the morning, then head to 48th street and then on over to the Observatory to shoot some live bands.

Do you have any hidden talents?
Indeed. I shred on a stand-up jet ski.

Who was the last famous person you kicked it with?
Roy Woods.

Best advice your mom has given?
Don’t talk to boys. Sorry mom, I didn’t always listen… I learned the hard way.

Favorite food?
Poke.

Surfers or skaters?
“He was a skater boy. She said see you later boy”.

Worst pick up line?
“Hey… so do you come here often?”

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I used to do pageant. I was crowned Miss Seal Beach Teen 2013, Miss Seal
Beach Teen 2016, as well as Miss Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach 2017.

Airbnb all the way.

Shwayze, No Doubt, and The Black Keys.

What’s next for Sav?

I am so grateful for the path that music and photography have taken me and I hope
to continue pursuing my love for shooting live music. Working with such an
amazing team, you have so many creative jobs come up. I can’t wait to share those with everyone.
